Class Gymnastics and December 19, 2004 at the Freeman Sports and
Convocation Center, Christopher Newport University. Over 350 young women
participated in this year's invitational. Click for

optional results. World Class Gymnast Named to 2004 National TOP TeamNewport News, Virginia - December 2004 - World Class gymnast, Nicole Wright, made this year's TOPs National Gymnastics Team and
earned the right to train at Bela Karolyi's Ranch in Houston, Texas.
World Class Gymnastics Cartwheel-a-thon Raises over $1200Newport News, Virginia - October 10, 2004 - The World Class Gymnastics' Cartwheel-a-thon and Gymnastics Demonstration at the Coliseum Mall on Saturday, September 25th, was quite a success. The Gymnasts raised over $1200 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and to defray the cost of gymnastics competitions during the upcoming competitive year. Approximately 30 gymnasts from the boys and girls teams performed for the crowd. Gym owner and head coach, Tami Harrison, spoke to the crowd about the importance of physical activity for children and adults. She emphasized that children who are physically active not only improve their physical health, but also their mental health, their performance in school, and their general well-being. World Class Gymnasts Participate in Talent Opportunity Program National CompetitionNewport News, Virginia - September 24, 2004 - Two World Class Gymnastics team members have been invited to participate in the Talent Opportunity Program (TOPs) National Competition to be held between October 1st and 3rd at the Karolyi Gymnastics Camp in New Waverly, Texas. Nicole Wright is returning for the second year to the camp and will be joined this year by Claire Spencer. Nicole will participate in the 11 year old class, while Claire will participate in the 10 year old class. In addition, Erica Fassbender and Dakota McManus qualified for the Gold and Diamond levels, respectively, in the 7 and 8 year old classification.
The Talent Opportunity Program gives our younger gymnasts
the ability to showcase their skills before the National Team Coaches
and staff who want to have an opportunity to accelerate their
development and work with these talented gymnasts in the future. World
Class Gymnasts have been training and testing for TOPs for the past two
years. They put in extra training hours to master and perfect all the
skills necessary to score well in 16 evaluation areas that cover
strength, flexibility, and gymnastics skills. Congratulations to all of the girls and good luck to Nicole Wright and Claire Spencer during the upcoming National Competition. World Class Gymnastics is Now a Jr. Olympic National Team Training Center
